Our strategy is centred around our sustainability priorities and associated material topics within environment , social and governance as reflected below.
Engaging with our stakeholders or their representatives is an essential part of our materiality assessment. Our main stakeholders include customers, investors, employees, suppliers and authorities. These interactions enable us to manage stakeholder expectations and gain valuable input on how we impact our surroundings and vice versa. Every year, our sustainability strategy is reviewed based on an updated materiality assessment. We monitor and track our progress towards set targets annually, reporting these results in our Annual Report.
Our sustainability ambitions, targets and actions are aligned with our commitment to the UN Global Compact, the Science Based Targets initiative and the Paris Agreement.
Sustainability governance
Sustainability is embedded at all levels of Modern Cloud Cargo. The Group functions oversee the day-to-day coordination of our sustainability strategy and ensure compliance with relevant standards. Group functions also serve as a link between local operations and company management, ensuring alignment across the company.
Sustainability performance targets are incorporated into the variable remuneration framework for Executive Management to support Modern Cloud Cargo’s commitment to sustainability progress.
